dc.description.abstractTHIS ARTICLE PRESENTS THE FIRST RESULTS OF A STUDY WHICH AIMS TO DETERMINE THE IMPACT OF THE CHARACTERISTICS OF TELEWORKING AUTONOMY ON TELEWORKING STRESSORS (SUCH AS WORK OVERLOAD, WORK-HOME CONFLICT AND ROLE AMBIGUITY) AND THE EFFECT OF THESE STRESSORS ON THE EXHAUSTION OF PERFORMING TELEWORK. TO ACHIEVE THIS, SURVEYS HAVE BEEN APPLIED TO EMPLOYEES OF NATIONAL AND MULTINATIONAL COMPANIES WITH A PRESENCE IN CHILE, WHO USE OR WORK UNDER THE TELEWORK FORMAT. THE RESULTS OF THE STRUCTURAL EQUATION ANALYSIS REVEALS THAT AUTONOMY REDUCES STRESSORS, WHILE WORK OVERLOAD INCREASES TELEWORK EXHAUSTION.
