dc.description.abstract	Esta tesis aborda la evaluación del desempeño energético de viviendas concebidas con diversos sistemas constructivos en Montevideo, proponiendo un modelo de análisis para el estudio del beneficio económico de soluciones de eficiencia energética en la etapa de diseño. El contexto de la investigación se sitúa en torno a la vivienda de interés social en Uruguay, amparado en la nueva Ley de Promoción de la Vivienda de Interés Social (Ley 18.795). En este marco, el Ministerio de Vivienda, Ordenamiento Territorial y Medio Ambiente admite la construcción con sistemas constructivos no tradicionales con su correspondiente Documento de Aptitud Técnica aprobado. Se emplearon tres metodologías combinadas de forma transversal y secuencial. La elección de casos permitió acotar el estudio. Se realizaron simulaciones energéticas y análisis financiero, permitiendo valorar el beneficio económico de la eficiencia energética de las soluciones estudiadas. Se concluye que invertir en soluciones de eficiencia energética puede ser rentable, alcanzando ahorros en el VPN de las soluciones de hasta 11,4% respecto del caso base en un ACV a 20 años. En algunos casos se percibe el repago de la inversión inicial para el tiempo de análisis propuesto, a partir del año 3.	es
dc.description.abstract-2	This thesis deals with the assessment of energy performance of homes designed with various construction systems in Montevideo, proposing an analytical model to study the economic benefits of energy efficiency solutions in the design stage. The research context is framed around the social housing in Uruguay, considering the importance of the new Law for the Promotion of Social Housing (Law 18,795). In this framework, the Ministry of Housing, Territorial Planning and Environment supports the construction with non-traditional construction systems with its corresponding Technical Aptitude Document approved. Three methodologies were combined transverse and sequentially. The choice of case study allowed to limit the research. Energy simulations and financial analyzes were performed, allowing to assess the economic benefits of energy efficiency of the studied solutions. It is concluded that the investing on energy efficiency solutions can be profitable, achieving solutions which their NPV saves up to 11.4% over the basecase in an 20-year LCA. In some cases, the repayment of the initial investment is perceived during the proposed analisys time, from the third year.	en
