dc.description.abstract	La presente tesis se centra en el vínculo de los objetos, como elementos de colección y su relación con el habitar. Se toman como referencia la casa del escritor Nicanor Parra (1914-2018) en La Reina y la casa del entomólogo Luis Peña (1921-1995) en Colina, ambas situadas en Santiago de Chile. En estos ejemplos el componente particular; el artefacto doméstico, es utilizado tanto para la comprensión semántica de la obra (caso Parra) como para la función educativa y formativa de un estudio científico (caso Peña). De esta manera, ellas cobran especial relevancia en la definición de sus espacios, reformulando el discurso del museo clásico y redefiniendo los límites del patrimonio cultural material. El método de investigación es el estudio de caso, planteando como marco teórico, la revisión de los alcances del coleccionismo a partir de los gabinetes de maravillas, cabinas de dimensiones variables que albergaban todo tipo de objeto singular o natural. Su alcance histórico simbolizó un saber basado en la analogía entre heterogeneidad expositiva y la colección. Dentro de esta línea trasladado a la escala doméstica, las casas-museo se presentan como espacios que proyectan la imagen e historia del habitante. A partir de ello, se propone relacionar los objetos como artefacto mínimo con capacidad para reformular proyectualmente el espacio arquitectónico en colecciones privadas. Por ello, se plantea la hipótesis de que el habitar retoma la idea tradicional de vivienda, pero puede ofrecer una nueva tipología de exhibición, mostrando tensión entre la naturaleza de la casa y el museo, porque los objetos armonizan el espacio doméstico considerando las variables: orden, repetición y utilidad	es
dc.description.abstract-2	This thesis focuses on the link between objects, as collector's items, and their relationship with living. The house of the writer Nicanor Parra (1914-2018) in La Reina and the house of the entomologist Luis Peña (1921-1995) in Colina, both located in Santiago de Chile, are taken as a reference. In these examples the particular component; the domestic device is used both for the semantic understanding of the work (Parra case) and for the educational and formative function of a scientific study (Peñacase). In this way, they take on special relevance in the definition of their spaces, reformulating the discourse of the classical museum and redefining the limits of tangible cultural heritage. The research method is the case study, posing as a theoretical framework, the review of the scope of collecting from the cabinets of wonders, cabins of variable dimensions that housed all kinds of unique or natural objects. Its historical scope symbolized a knowledge based on the analogy between exhibition heterogeneity and the collection. Within this line, transferred to the domestic scale, the house-museums are presented as spaces that project the image and history of the inhabitant. From this, it is proposed to relate the objects as a minimal artifact with the capacity to reformulate the architectural space in private collections. For this reason, the hypothesis is raised that living takes up the traditional idea of housing, but can offer a new type of exhibition, showing tension between the nature of the house and the museum, because the objects harmonize the domestic space considering the variables: order, repetition and utility.	en
