dc.description.abstract	Reducir el consumo energético, sobre todo en el sector de la construcción que representa casi el 40% de la energía global es urgente. En el caso particular de Chile, donde los ingresos están tan mal distribuidos, el costo de la energía es alto y la calidad de la envolvente térmica de las viviendas es deficiente, se traduce en una situación grave en términos de demanda energética y niveles de confort térmico de los hogares vulnerables. Para mejorar esta situación, se hace indispensable crear políticas públicas con metas de ahorro de energía más realistas, pero predecir el rendimiento energético del edificio de manera confiable, comprender el rol del ocupante y crear modelos más sólidos sigue siendo un problema que produce una Brecha en el Desempeño Energético (BDE). Por esto, el objetivo del estudio es identificar y medir el impacto de las variables asociadas al desempeño energético en hogares vulnerables del Centro Sur de Chile y proponer valores que permitan reducir la brecha. Para ello se realizó un análisis de sensibilidad, ajustando los parámetros de desempeño energético de entrada de un modelo base a partir de los datos analizados en los Estándares Normativos Locales, determinado los efectos que ocurren a partir de dichas modificaciones sobre el Consumo Energético Real levantado en las viviendas de la comuna de Mulchén. Los principales resultados de la investigación demuestran que las variables que más impactan sobre el desempeño energético, son la Infiltración, el Coeficiente de rendimiento de los equipos y los Límites y Horarios de activación de la calefacción, generando una diferencia del 40% entre el consumo energético de calefacción teórico y el consumo real.	es
dc.description.abstract-2	Reducing energy consumption, especially in the construction sector, which represents almost 40% of global energy, is urgent. In the particular case of Chile, where income is so poorly distributed, the cost of energy is high and the quality of the thermal envelope of the houses is deficient, this translates into a serious situation in terms of energy demand and thermal comfort levels of vulnerable homes. To improve this situation, it is essential to create public policies with more realistic energy saving goals, but reliably predicting the energy performance of the building, understanding the role of the occupant and creating more robust models continues to be a problem that produces a Gap in the Energy Performance (GEP). For this reason, the objective of the study is to identify and measure the impact of the variables associated with energy performance in vulnerable households in the Central South of Chile and propose values that allow the gap to be reduced. For this, a sensitivity analysis was carried out, adjusting the input energy performance parameters of a base model based on the data analyzed in the Local Regulatory Standards, determining the effects that occur from said modifications on the Real Energy Consumption raised in the houses of the Mulchén city. The main results of the research show that the variables that have the greatest impact on energy performance are infiltration, the equipment performance coefficient and heating activation limits and hours, generating a difference of 40% between the theoretical heating energy consumption and the actual consumption.	en
