THIS ARTICLE ANALYZES THE RESULTS OF AN INVESTIGATION ON THE FAMILY-TERRITORIAL EDUCATIONAL RELATIONSHIP, THE AFFILIATION OF PEOPLE WITH THE FAMILY SOCIAL MEMORY AND THEIR ANCESTRY TO THE MAPUCHE HISTORICAL-TERRITORIAL COLLECTIVITIES. THE THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK CONSIDERS THE CONCEPTS OF SOCIAL MEMORY, HISTORICAL COLLECTIVITY AND KIMELTUWÜN. THE METHODOLOGY IS ANALYTICAL DESCRIPTIVE IN THE FRAMEWORK OF EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH. THE RESULTS MAKE EXPLICIT A SOCIAL AND CULTURAL PERSPECTIVE IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF KNOWLEDGE FROM THE INTERSUBJECTIVITY OF PARENTS AND KIMCHE [WISE MAN]. THE ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS IS CARRIED OUT BASED ON TWO DIMENSIONS: CURRENT CHARACTERISTICS OF MAPUCHE EDUCATION AND PEDAGOGICAL OBJECTIVES OF THE KIMELTUWÜN EDUCATIONAL ACTION.
