THIS ARTICLE PRESENTS THE PEDAGOGICAL MEDIATION OF THE PLAY DULCINEA ENCADENADA, BY TEATRO DEL NUEVO MUNDO, APPLIED IN SEVEN PUBLIC PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN THE ÑUBLE REGION IN CHILE. THE INTERVENTION WAS AN ACTION RESEARCH-BASED APPROACH BY MEANS OF A SCHOOL FOR THEATER SPECTATORS AND A MULTIMODAL BOOKLET, ALIGNING CONTENTS OF BOTH ?LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE? AND ?SCHOOL COUNSELING? SUBJECTS. BOTH DIDACTIC INSTRUMENTS ENDORSE THE THEATER AS A FUNCTIONAL TOOL WHEN IT COMES TO FORMAL EDUCATION.
