Resumen
THE AIM OF THIS WORK IS TO STUDY INTEGRAL EDUCATION INTERESTS OF STUDENTS AT UNIVERSIDAD DEL BÍO-BÍO, CHILE, WITH THE PURPOSE OF GROUPING THEM BASED ON THE GENERIC COMPETENCES DEFINED BY THEIR EDUCATIONAL MODEL. IN ORDER TO DO SO, AN INSTRUMENT TO MEASURE THE INTERESTS OF THE STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY WAS CREATED, CONSIDERING A BIBLIOGRAPHICAL AND STATISTICAL ANALYSIS, BASED ON A PILOT IMPLEMENTATION. THE RESULTS SHOW THAT THE QUESTIONNAIRE CONSISTS OF 34 ITEMS, PRESENTING AN INTERNAL CONSISTENCY OF 0,947. FACTOR ANALYSIS DETERMINES 5 FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH THE GENERIC SKILLS DECLARED IN THE UNIVERSITY EDUCATIONAL MODEL. ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT INTERESTS FOR STUDENTS IS TO DEVELOP THEIR ABILITY TO EXPRESS IDEAS AND TO FACE PUBLIC. IT IS CONCLUDED THAT THIS WORK REPRESENTS A FIRST STEP INTO THE MAIN TOPICS TO WORK ON WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF INTEGRAL EDUCATION, AND IT IS NECESSARY TO EXPAND THE SAMPLE OF THIS STUDY WITH THE PURPOSE OF DEFINING NEW METHODOLOGICAL STRATEGIES.
