PARA ELLO SE CONSTRUYÓ UNA BASE DE DATOS CON LA TOTALIDAD DE PUBLICACIONES DE LA REVISTA (25 VOLÚMENES Y 48 NÚMEROS), CON UNA MUESTRA TOTAL DE 531 ARTÍCULOS CIENTÍFICOS. SE APLICARON INDICADORES BIBLIOMÉTRICOS, TALES COMO LOS ÍNDICES DE PRODUCTIVIDAD (LOTKA), DE COLABORACIÓN (SUBRAMANYAM Y LAWANI), DE TEMÁTICAS Y METODOLOGÍAS UTILIZADAS, ASÍ COMO INDICADORES DE IMPACTO QUE PERMITEN REALIZAR COMPARACIONES CON OTRAS REVISTAS DE REFERENCIA EN LA REGIÓN. LOS RESULTADOS EVIDENCIAN QUE LA PRIMERA AUTORÍA DE LOS ARTÍCULOS CORRESPONDIÓ A UNA MAYOR PROPORCIÓN DE MUJERES. SE VISLUMBRA UNA CLARA TENDENCIA AL ALZA DEL NÚMERO DE ARTÍCULOS A MEDIADOS DE LOS AÑOS 2000, EL ÁREA TEMÁTICA CON MAYOR NÚMERO DE ARTÍCULOS ES PSICOLOGÍA EDUCACIONAL Y LOS ÍNDICES DE COLABORACIÓN HAN MEJORADO SUSTANCIALMENTE HACIA LA ACTUALIDAD. - Publicación5-A-SIDE SOCCER: PREVALENCE OF SPORTS INJURIES IN BRAZILIAN TEAM PLAYERS(Revista Brasileira de Medicina do Esporte, 2021)LUIS FELIPE CASTELLI CORREIA DE CAMPOSINTRODUCTION: 5-A-SIDE SOCCER IS A SPORTS MODALITY EXCLUSIVELY FOR ATHLETES WITH VISION IMPAIRMENT (VI) CLASSIFIED AS BLIND - B1 (BLIND 1) BY THE VISUAL CLASSIFICATION PROCESS. TYPE OF IMPAIRMENT AND HIGH-PERFORMANCE TRAINING ARE FACTORS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF SPORTS INJURIES. OBJECTIVE: THE PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY WAS TO CHARACTERIZE THE PREVALENCE OF SPORTS-RELATED INJURIES IN VISUALLY DISABLED ATHLETES OF THE BRAZILIAN 5-A-SIDE SOCCER TEAM. METHODS: THE METHOD WAS DEFINED AS A DESCRIPTIVE, LONGITUDINAL, EPIDEMIOLOGICAL STUDY. THE SAMPLE WAS COMPOSED OF TEN MALE ATHLETES, MEMBERS OF THE BRAZILIAN 5-A-SIDE SOCCER TEAM, INCLUDING TWO ATHLETES WITHOUT VI AND EIGHT ATHLETES WITH THE B1 VISUAL CLASSIFICATION, WHO PARTICIPATED IN COMPETITIONS IN 2014. THE QUESTIONNAIRE FOR THE DATA COLLECTION WAS BASED ON THE SPORT INJURIES PROTOCOL FOR PARALYMPIC SPORTS (PLEEP), EXPRESSING QUANTITATIVE DATA ANALYZED BY DESCRIPTIVE STATISTICS. RESULTS: THE RESULTS SHOWED THAT, IN 2014, FIVE ATHLETES WITH VI HAD SEVEN SPORTS INJURIES, WITH A PREVALENCE OF 62.5%, CLINICAL INCIDENCE OF 0.87 INJURIES PER ATHLETE PER YEAR, AND 1.4 INJURIES PER INJURED ATHLETE. THE MAIN SPORTS INJURIES WERE MUSCLE STRAIN (28.6%), GROIN PULL (ATHLETIC PUBALGIA) (28.6%), AND SHIN SPLINTS (PERIOSTITIS) (28.6%). ALL SPORTS INJURIES OCCURRED IN THE LOWER LIMBS, AFFECTING LEGS (71.4%) AND HIPS (28.6%). OVERLOAD WAS THE MOST FREQUENT MECHANISM (57%), REPORTED AFTER THE TECHNICAL KICK MOVEMENT AND LINKED TO THE MUSCLE IMBALANCE BETWEEN DOMINANT AND SUPPORTING LOWER LIMBS, IN ADDITION TO THE POSTURAL MISALIGNMENT TYPICAL OF PEOPLE WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENTS. CONCLUSIONS: IN SUMMARY, THE BRAZILIAN 5-A-SIDE SOCCER ATHLETES PRESENTED A PATTERN OF OVERLOAD INJURIES RESULTING FROM THE REPETITION OF THE TECHNICAL KICK MOVEMENT, OCCURRING PREDOMINANTLY IN SPORTS COMPETITIONS. - PublicaciónA BANACH SPACES-BASED ANALYSIS OF A NEW FULLY-MIXED FINITE ELEMENT METHOD FOR THE BOUSSINESQ PROBLEM(ESAIM-MATHEMATICAL MODELLING AND NUMERICAL ANALYSIS, 2020)ELIGIO ANTONIO COLMENARES GARCÍAIN THIS PAPER WE PROPOSE AND ANALYZE, UTILIZING MAINLY TOOLS AND ABSTRACT RESULTS FROM BANACH SPACES RATHER THAN FROM HILBERT ONES, A NEW FULLY-MIXED FINITE ELEMENT METHOD FOR THE STATIONARY BOUSSINESQ PROBLEM WITH TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENT VISCOSITY. MORE PRECISELY, FOLLOWING AN IDEA THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN APPLIED TO THE NAVIER-STOKES EQUATIONS AND TO THE FLUID PART ONLY OF OUR MODEL OF INTEREST, WE FIRST INCORPORATE THE VELOCITY GRADIENT AND THE ASSOCIATED BERNOULLI STRESS TENSOR AS AUXILIARY UNKNOWNS. ADDITIONALLY, AND DIFFERENTLY FROM EARLIER WORKS IN WHICH EITHER THE PRIMAL OR THE CLASSICAL DUAL-MIXED METHOD IS EMPLOYED FOR THE HEAT EQUATION, WE CONSIDER HERE AN ANALOGUE OF THE APPROACH FOR THE FLUID, WHICH CONSISTS OF INTRODUCING AS FURTHER VARIABLES THE GRADIENT OF TEMPERATURE AND A VECTOR VERSION OF THE BERNOULLI TENSOR. THE RESULTING MIXED VARIATIONAL FORMULATION, WHICH INVOLVES THE AFOREMENTIONED FOUR UNKNOWNS TOGETHER WITH THE ORIGINAL VARIABLES GIVEN BY THE VELOCITY AND TEMPERATURE OF THE FLUID, IS THEN REFORMULATED AS A FIXED POINT EQUATION. NEXT, WE UTILIZE THE WELL-KNOWN BANACH AND BROUWER THEOREMS, COMBINED WITH THE APPLICATION OF THE BABU$\CHECK{\MATHRM S}$KA-BREZZI THEORY TO EACH INDEPENDENT EQUATION, TO PROVE, UNDER SUITABLE SMALL DATA ASSUMPTIONS, THE EXISTENCE OF A UNIQUE SOLUTION TO THE CONTINUOUS SCHEME, AND THE EXISTENCE OF SOLUTION TO THE ASSOCIATED GALERKIN SYSTEM FOR A FEASIBLE CHOICE OF THE CORRESPONDING FINITE ELEMENT SUBSPACES.

THIS IS A NONLINEAR COUPLED MODEL REPRESENTING THE BIOLOGICAL PROCESS GIVEN BY THE CELL MOVEMENT, DRIVEN BY EITHER AN INTERNAL OR AN EXTERNAL CHEMICAL SIGNAL, WITHIN AN INCOMPRESSIBLE FLUID. IN ADDITION TO THE VELOCITY AND PRESSURE OF THE FLUID, THE VELOCITY GRADIENT AND THE BERNOUILLI-TYPE STRESS TENSOR ARE INTRODUCED AS FURTHER UNKNOWNS, WHICH ALLOWS TO ELIMINATE THE PRESSURE FROM THE EQUATIONS AND COMPUTE IT AFTERWARDS VIA A POSTPROCESSING FORMULA. IN TURN, BESIDES THE CELL DENSITY AND THE CHEMICAL SIGNAL CONCENTRATION, THE PSEUDOSTRESS ASSOCIATED WITH THE FORMER AND THE GRADIENT OF THE LATTER ARE INTRODUCED AS AUXILIARY UNKNOWNS AS WELL. THE SELECTION OF SLACKS IN EXISTING METHODS ONLY CONSIDER PREDETERMINED POLICIES, IGNORING THE DYNAMIC EXPLORATION OF THE GLOBAL DATA STRUCTURE, WHICH LEADS TO NONFULLY UTILIZATION OF THE INFORMATION IN THE DATA SPACE. IN THIS PAPER, WE PROPOSE A NOVEL SLACK-BASED FLEXIBLE BIN PACKING FRAMEWORK CALLED REINFORCED BIN PACKING FRAMEWORK (RBF) FOR THE ONE-DIMENSIONAL BPP. RBF CONSIDERS THE RL-SYSTEM, THE INSTANCE-EIGENVALUE MAPPING PROCESS, AND THE REINFORCED-MBS STRATEGY SIMULTANEOUSLY. IN OUR WORK, THE SLACK IS GENERATED WITH A REINFORCEMENT LEARNING STRATEGY, IN WHICH THE PERFORMANCE-DRIVEN REWARDS ARE USED TO CAPTURE THE INTUITION OF LEARNING THE CURRENT STATE OF THE CONTAINER SPACE, THE ACTION IS THE CHOICE OF THE PACKING CONTAINER, AND THE STATE IS THE REMAINING CAPACITY AFTER PACKING. DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SLACK, AN INSTANCE-EIGENVALUE MAPPING PROCESS IS DESIGNED AND UTILIZED TO GENERATE THE REPRESENTATIVE AND CLASSIFIED VALIDATE SET. FURTHERMORE, THE PROVISION OF THE SLACK COEFFICIENT IS INTEGRATED INTO MBS-BASED PACKING PROCESS. CONSEQUENTLY, THIS ARTICLE AIMS TO DEVELOP A GENERAL FRAMEWORK CONSISTING OF EPIDEMIOLOGICAL MODELING AND A PRACTICAL IDENTIFIABILITY APPROACH TO ASSESS COMBINED VACCINATION AND NON-PHARMACEUTICAL INTERVENTION (NPI) STRATEGIES FOR THE DYNAMICS OF ANY TRANSMISSIBLE DISEASE. MATERIALS AND METHODS: EPIDEMIOLOGICAL MODELING OF THE PRESENT WORK RELIES ON DELAY DIFERENTIAL EQUATIONS DESCRIBING TIME VARIATION AND TRANSITIONS BETWEEN SUITABLE COMPARTMENTS. THE PRACTICAL IDENTIFIABILITY APPROACH RELIES ON PARAMETER OPTIMIZATION, A PARAMETRIC BOOTSTRAP TECHNIQUE, AND DATA PROCESSING. WE IMPLEMENTED A CAREFUL PARAMETER OPTIMIZATION ALGORITHM BY SEARCHING FOR SUITABLE INITIALIZATION ACCORDING TO EACH PROCESSED DATASET. IN ADDITION, WE IMPLEMENTED A PARAMETRIC BOOTSTRAP TECHNIQUE TO ACCURATELY PREDICT THE ICU CURVE TREND IN THE MEDIUM TERM AND ASSESS VACCINATION. RESULTS: WE SHOW THE FRAMEWORK?S CALIBRATION CAPABILITIES FOR SEVERAL PROCESSED COVID-19 DATASETS OF DI ERENT REGIONS OF CHILE. WE FOUND A UNIQUE RANGE OF PARAMETERS THAT WORKS WELL FOR EVERY DATASET AND PROVIDES OVERALL NUMERICAL STABILITY AND CONVERGENCE FOR PARAMETER OPTIMIZATION. CONSEQUENTLY, THE FRAMEWORK PRODUCES OUTSTANDING RESULTS CONCERNING QUANTITATIVE TRACKING OF COVID-19 DYNAMICS. IN ADDITION, IT ALLOWS US TO ACCURATELY PREDICT THE ICU CURVE TREND IN THE MEDIUM TERM AND ASSESS VACCINATION. FINALLY, IT IS REPRODUCIBLE SINCE WE PROVIDE OPEN-SOURCE CODES THAT CONSIDER PARAMETER INITIALIZATION STANDARDIZED FOR EVERY DATASET. REPTILES ARE THREATENED BY THE SAME MAJOR FACTORS THAT THREATEN OTHER TETRAPODS?AGRICULTURE, LOGGING, URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND INVASIVE SPECIES?ALTHOUGH THE THREAT POSED BY CLIMATE CHANGE REMAINS UNCERTAIN. REPTILES INHABITING FORESTS, WHERE THESE THREATS ARE STRONGEST, ARE MORE THREATENED THAN THOSE IN ARID HABITATS, CONTRARY TO OUR PREDICTION. BIRDS, MAMMALS AND AMPHIBIANS ARE UNEXPECTEDLY GOOD SURROGATES FOR THE CONSERVATION OF REPTILES, ALTHOUGH THREATENED REPTILES WITH THE SMALLEST RANGES TEND TO BE ISOLATED FROM OTHER THREATENED TETRAPODS. ALTHOUGH SOME REPTILES?INCLUDING MOST SPECIES OF CROCODILES AND TURTLES?REQUIRE URGENT, TARGETED ACTION TO PREVENT EXTINCTIONS, EFFORTS TO PROTECT OTHER TETRAPODS, SUCH AS HABITAT PRESERVATION AND CONTROL OF TRADE AND INVASIVE SPECIES, WILL PROBABLY ALSO BENEFIT MANY REPTILES.
